Governance

Board of Directors

AADE is guided by a volunteer board of directors. There are 22 board members, each of whom are leaders in teh field of diabetes education. They serve a three-year term and focus on helping to lead and grow the field of diabetes education. Members of the board of directors are elected by and from the membership and are responsible for strategic planning, financial oversight and governance.

AADE's governance documents lay out the framework for the mission, vision and goals of the organization and the membership. Our bylaws, code of ethics and strategic plan guide us in the work that we do.
