The AADE Education and Research Foundation secures financial resources to fund grants and scholarships that support a variety of research and educational opportunities for AADE members, thereby translating positive findings into evidence-based tools; advancing the practice of diabetes education; and enabling members to help people with diabetes successfully self-manage their conditions.
Touching Hearts...Changing Lives.
The AADE Education and Research Foundation has launched it first major fundraising campaign, which kicked-off during the AADE Annual Meeting & Exhibition, August, 2009. Over 400 attendees participated, raising $9,000 in two days. All AADE members, friends and supporters now have an opportunity to participate in this exciting new effort.
The “Touching Hearts, Changing Lives” campaign is raising funds to provide grants to accredited diabetes programs for real, front-line community outreach. These grants help tackle the kinds of issues you face every day, such as wellness, prevention of complications and support for diabetes education in medically underserved populations.
The goal of the campaign is to bring additional resources for community outreach efforts initiated by accredited diabetes education programs and the diabetes educators within them. Join the hundreds of AADE members that have already participated, by making a year-end gift.
