These exciting grant opportunities will provide information that is essential to advance the practice of diabetes self-management education/training. Before applying please note:
- Research must relate to diabetes self-management education
- Awardees are expected to submit an abstract for the presentation of their findings at the AADE Annual meeting
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
This grant opportunity is now closed.
Grant Amount: $10,000 each
CQI is a concept that can be applied to any type of diabetes program in any setting. Constant implementation and analysis of CQI within diabetes education programs are important for determining each program's efficacy and potential for improvement.
Applicants will design and propose a project/study of current CQI initiatives in place within the diabetes education program with which they have an affiliation. Each grant recipient will design a plan to measure and evaluate the results of the project based on the parameters of the proposed study and needs assessment if applicable. Pilot studies are acceptable. Specific goals, objectives and activities will be generated by the grant applicant.
