Why do you love being a member? 

I enjoy being part of an interprofessional community that is passionate about diabetes care. Membership gives me an opportunity to learn and work with other diabetes care and education specialists from around the United States. 

What is your favorite part about being a diabetes care and education specialist? 

The evidence and resources around diabetes care are rapidly changing. I feel that I'm able to provide patients with the latest technology, medications and other resources available.

ADCES Annual Conference, ADCES in Practice, CGM Certificate program 

What is one piece of advice you would give to a new diabetes care and education specialist or someone considering the profession? 

Engage with ADCES. The annual meetings are a wonderful experience.
