Help your colleagues give back to diabetes care. With just a $25 donation to the ADCES Foundation, you can support your fellow diabetes care and education specialists in critical programs and research to increase access and improve outcomes.
Here are just a few of the projects your donations fund:
Grants supporting innovative diabetes care and education services in communities across the U.S.. Most recently we supported programs in North Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Utah and New Hampshire that addressed socioeconomic barriers to care. Stay tuned for learnings from these projects in the coming months.
A new mentored post-doctoral fellowship in integrated diabetes management to support emerging leaders in research and diabetes care. Check out the 2020 recipient Julia Blanchette Ph.D., RN, CDCES to learn about her research on financial stress in emerging adults with type 1 diabetes.
Scholarships that provide your colleagues the ability to attend the annual conference and other opportunities to serve communities at risk. Find out how these opportunities helped member Christina Carr better serve her clients facing socioeconomic barriers to care.
The ADCES Foundation needs your help to fund these important activities that expand the horizons of diabetes care and education. When you donate $100 or more you receive special recognition in the July issue of ADCES in Practice magazine! Please send your tax-deductible gift by April 24, 2021.
