When paired with the MiniMed™ 770G system the MiniMed™ Mobile App enables automatic CareLink™ uploads, helping support meaningful conversations with your patients, whether in-person or via telehealth.
Data sharing is also available for up to five care partners though the CareLink™ connect app. Care partners can follow a pump user and receive high and low notifications.
MiniMed™ Mobile app users should ensure they meet the following criteria in order to facilitate the data transfer from the pump and continuous glucose monitoring to the MiniMed™ Mobile app and CareLink™ server, which would enable care partners to receive data in the CareLink™ Connect app.
Currently available on iOS and Android™ smartphones. In order to avoid compatibility issues, the “automatic updates” feature on the patient’s mobile device’s settings should be turned off. Before updating the device’s software, ensure the patient has accessed the link below to verify which devices are supported:

The MiniMed™ Mobile app displays pump and sensor data on a compatible smartphone through a Bluetooth® connection. For this to happen, the MiniMed™ 770G pump needs to be within 20 feet of the MiniMed™ Mobile app and the app needs to be open, in the foreground or background.
The MiniMed™ Mobile app will also automatically upload patients’ system information to CareLink™ software with an internet connection and the “Sync to CareLink™” option is ON.
The MiniMed™ Mobile app is intended to provide a secondary display for a compatible MiniMed™ insulin pump system on a suitable consumer electronic device for passive monitoring and to sync data to CareLink™ system. The MiniMed™ Mobile app is not intended to replace the real-time display of Continuous glucose monitoring or insulin pump data on the primary display device (i.e., the insulin pump). All therapy decisions should be based on the primary display device.
The MiniMed™ Mobile app is not intended to analyze or modify the continuous glucose monitoring data or insulin pump data that it receives. Nor is it intended to control any function of the connected continuous glucose monitoring system or insulin pump. The MiniMed™ Mobile app is not intended to receive information directly from the sensor or transmitter of a continuous glucose monitoring system.
