The Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist credential (CDCES), formerly called the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), is for health care professionals with extensive knowledge and experience in prediabetes, diabetes prevention and management.
The CDCES credential is administered and maintained by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, which also determines eligibility requirements.
