Insulin Pump Therapy

Hypoglycemia is blood sugar of less than 70mg/dl and is a very dangerous complication for people with diabetes. The causes can include both behavioral and medication variability. This includes schedule changes, skipping meals, increased physical activity, as well as improper insulin dosing, combination therapy, medication timing, and more.

Since glucose is the main source of fuel used for the brain and muscles to perform daily tasks and activities, you can see why preventing hypoglycemia is a priority. The best way to treat hypoglycemia is to avoid it!
