ADCES has been awarded a $2.5 million grant over three years by The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to grow and expand danatech. Through this funding, ADCES will create an open platform available to all healthcare professionals who work with people with diabetes, including those in primary care and pharmacy settings.

Every five years, the National Standards for DSMES are updated. These are the guidelines accredited/recognized programs have to follow to be eligible for Medicare reimbursement. There are many revisions in this latest update, all designed to relieve administrative burden, put the person with diabetes more squarely at the center of the care team, and improve access for all people with diabetes.
