Aug 22, 2016

Crystal Broj has been named the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer, CTIO, for the American Association of Diabetes Educators. Broj was formerly the Information Technology Business Analyst Manager at Zurich Insurance and comes to AADE with more than two decades of experience in building and fostering new technologies.

“Crystal’s new role will expand AADE’s view of technology beyond the walls of the association,” AADE CEO Charles Macfarlane said. “It allows us to meet the evolving needs of our members and the patients they serve within today’s rapidly changing technology landscape.”

"Healthcare technology has the ability to make a difference for people with diabetes," Broj said. "Using that technology in patient care, especially through education, is very exciting."
