The Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists to host annual conference in Atlanta, August 14-17

The Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) opened registration for ADCES20: Diabetes Care, Education and Technology; taking place from Friday, Aug. 14, to Monday, Aug. 17, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The four-day conference focuses on innovative education, an exhibit hall with the latest products in diabetes technology and care, and networking opportunities for health care professionals working in a variety of sectors and backgrounds.

In its inaugural year as ADCES (previously AADE), the conference will have several new additions to help attendees meet the demands of a quickly evolving health care landscape. Highlights include:

LEARNING ACADEMIES
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), insulin pump therapy, and insulin initiation and management with the Danatech Learning Academy. Each session builds in complexity to provide introductory to advanced-level learning.
• Fri, Aug. 14: Insulin Pump Therapy Academy
• Sat, Aug. 15: CGM Academy
• Sun, Aug. 16: Insulin Initiation and Management Academy
• Mon, Aug. 17: CGM Academy (Encore)
