With a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois, extensive experience on the campaign trail, and working for non-profits, Ashley is no stranger to the field of advocacy; she joins AADE fresh form the 2016 campaign, wherein she served as Deputy Finance Director for a Chicago-area congressional race. Ashley has also worked as a consultant for several candidates seeking state and municipal office in Illinois, and hopes to run for office herself someday.

Ashley previously worked at Autism Speaks, the leading organization dedicated to serving the needs of individuals with autism and their families. She remains involved with the organization though the Chicago Chapter of Autism Speaks to Young Professionals (AS2YP). This year, Ashley is pleased to serve on the planning committee for the 2017 AS2YP Illuminate Gala.

An avid Chicago Blackhawks fan, fluent Russian speaker, and novice tennis player, and podcast binge-listener, Ashley grew up in Chicago’s North Shore Suburbs, and is proud to now call the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago “home
