We hope your CB will be represented at the Public Policy Forum on June 8 and 9 in Rosemont, Illinois at the Hilton Rosemont Hotel.
The basic goals of the PPF 2018 will be to:
- Promote and advance the AADE state and federal legislative and policy agendas
- Build a state-based cadre of subject-matter advocates who can speak on and influence policy makers on federal and state-based issues
- Train AADE members on how to interact and to communicate effectively with policy makers and move AADE’s agenda
- Teach members the tools they need to protect and advance diabetes education
Attendees will include State Grassroots Coordinators, Advocacy Committee members, members-at large, Coordinating Body leaders, AADE officers and Board Members.
There will be a wide range of policy and advocacy perspectives presented by advocacy professionals and AADE members engaged in advocacy.
The PPF 2018 is an opportunity for you to meet other AADE activists and help expand and improve our advocacy program.
Please contact Ashley Urisman, aurisman@aadenet.org if your CB has not yet registered.
