We are wrapping up a busy year for DEAP and now have over 850 accredited programs with over 2,100 sites delivering diabetes education. Our online application system is undergoing an update, so we will be launching a newer, more flexible and user-friendly version in 2019. We also have a new webmaster coming on board who will help us freshen up and enhance our DEAP webpages, so stay tuned.

Our free monthly DEAP webinars specifically designed for our quality coordinators will continue into 2019 and the good news is that we are adding CEU’s towards your required amount needed to maintain accreditation. We have created a practice discussion group in MY AADE NETWORK called “Quality Coordinators” that can be found under Practice Area Discussion to facilitate networking so that all of our coordinators can get help and advice from their peers.
