Due to the pandemic, ADCES has shifted its annual in-person Public Policy Forum, originally scheduled for May 2020, to a virtual event. The good news? Since we are going virtual, ADCES has opened-up this event to all ADCES members! Additionally, the 2020 Virtual Public Policy Forum will take place during ADCES’ Advocacy Week kicking off on Tuesday September 29. During ADCES’ Advocacy Week, we’ll provide opportunities for ADCES members to learn about what’s happening on Capitol Hill and discuss critical advocacy issues like the Expanding Access to DSMT Act, addressing health inequities in diabetes care, how to talk to legislators about the impact of COVID-19 on people with diabetes, and efforts to permanently expand temporary telehealth changes. There is something for everyone whether you are new to advocacy or a seasoned advocate. Register today!
