In early August, AADE launched its newest member benefit, DANA (Diabetes Advanced Network Access), a site covering all areas of diabetes technology. If you still have not yet been introduced to the website, DANA provides a robust, always-current platform for research and review of devices and apps, access to tech-focused CE and device training, innovation-shaping research and a repository of curated market intelligence and evidence-based research and information.
While in Baltimore, we were busy at AADE18 demonstrating DANA to our members and introducing them to all the resources that DANA can provide in their professional setting, and it was met with welcomed enthusiasm.
DANA is also the brand new home of the Diabetes Technology COI. The discussion forum, Blog and Resources for the Diabetes Tech community now lives on DANA's discussion board area, under RESOURCES. If you were already subscribed to Diabetes Technology, your subscription was automatically carried over and you will see no loss of emails or discussion alerts.
If you haven't yet subscribed to the Technology community, there's no better time than right now. Head over to the new home at https://www.danatech.org/discussion-board/ and hit the subscribe button at the top of the page. While you're there, feel free to post something in the forums or take part in a discussion already happening.
As for the Diabetes Technology COI page on MY AADE NETWORK, the discussion board has been locked but will remain up over the rest of the calendar year for you to search through and reference. Same goes for the Blog and Resource Library. However, all links to the Technology COI will be changed to navigate to DANA by the end of the year.
If you have any questions or concerns about how this change may impact you, or need any help navigating the new community page, please feel free to reach out to us at AADE at any time.
Log into DANA and have fun exploring the new website. Just make sure to swing by the Discussion Forums and say hello to the Technology COI while you’re on.
