If you prefer online learning, you can become an ADCES trained lifestyle coach from the comfort of your own home or office. Through ADCES’s 5-week online training, you’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and experience you need to facilitate a PreventT2 lifestyle change program. Led by an experienced ADCES Master Trainer, you’ll complete engaging web-based training modules and join interactive weekly Zoom sessions, participating in discussions and hands-on activities that make the content come to life. Nurses, dietitians and pharmacists earn 12 CE.
Once you complete ADCES’s Lifestyle Coach Training, you can receive the new ADCES Lifestyle Coach PreventT2 Lifestyle Change Program badge. Learn more
The Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES) will be updating the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Lifestyle Coach course to reflect the forthcoming 2021 CDC DPP Recognition Standards and Operating Procedures and the 2021 CDC curriculum.
We look forward to offering our updated course in September. Registration for the ADCES DPP Lifestyle Coach Course will open in August for the September 13, 2021-October 18, 2021 session.
