Leslie Barrett, MS, RD, CDCES is the Senior Manager of Clinical and Professional Education within Medical Affairs at Insulet Corporation. She has nearly 15 years of combined clinical, research, management, and industry experience with the management of diabetes. Prior to her time at Insulet, Ms. Barrett worked in diabetes education at a large endocrinology clinic in Detroit, Michigan.

Patty Scalzo, MSN, NP, CDCES, is the Director of Diabetes Technology Initiatives at ADCES. In this role, she provides thought leadership, strategic direction and content expertise to ADCES’s danatech platform and related resources. The danatech platform was created to serve as the go to diabetes technology resource for the association membership of diabetes care and education specialists.

Diana Isaacs is the Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Program Coordinator and Endocrinology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Cleveland Clinic Diabetes Center. Her role includes clinical practice, teaching, and research. She provides medication management and runs a robust CGM shared medical appointment program. Dr. Isaacs earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and then completed a pharmacy practice residency at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. Dr. Isaacs is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and holds board certifications in pharmacotherapy, ambulatory care, and advanced diabetes management. She has served in leadership roles for several pharmacy and diabetes organizations. She is the President of the Ohio ADCES Chapter and also serves as the Communications Director for the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Pregnancy and Reproductive Health Interest Group. Dr. Isaacs was awarded the Ohio Pharmacists Association Under 40 Award in 2019. She was named the 2020 ADCES Diabetes Care and Education Specialist of the Year and her educational platform is promoting use of CGM for people with diabetes.
