Learning Objectives

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
-- Review different types of stroke including ischemic and embolic stroke
-- Highlight increased prevalence of stroke in patients with diabetes and how it impacts overall mortality
-- Discuss the different drug classes that have data on stroke prevention in diabetes
