Explaining DSMES Concisely

The DSMES Promotion Playbook assists accredited and recognized programs delivering DSMES services with promoting their services consistently and in one voice. It provides customizable, downloadable flyers, digital ads for social and newsletters, postcards and posters.

Also included are downloadable messaging points and template emails to help you promote your DSMES program to others in your health system or network.

Developed through a collaborative effort of the CDC and national partners like ADCES^®, this DSMES playbook incorporates insights from individuals with diabetes, DCESs, referring health care providers, state health departments, and accredited and recognized programs.

Materials Branded to DEAP Programs

We've also created materials specifically for our DEAP programs to use. The only difference is they have the DEAP logo on them instead of the ADCES logo, so you can publicize your accreditation status.

Printable & Digital Promotional Resources

The following flyers, posters, postcards and digital ads are available for DSMES programs to use on social media channels, in newsletters or with other methods of promotion. Each piece is slightly different. All have gone through many rounds of concept testing by both people living with diabetes and health care professionals, ensuring that the messages and photos are on target.

All materials are offered as PDF documents and allow you to insert your contact information. Note: PDFs are not set up for full-bleed printing (i.e., printing to the edge of the paper).
