Diabetes Related Cardiometabolic Co-Conditions

This course focuses on diabetes-related cardiometabolic co-conditions: depression and anxiety, liver disease, diabetes-related neuropathies, overweight and obesity, and cardiovascular and renal co-conditions. Participants will learn how to screen or assess people with diabetes for these co-conditions and the treatment options that are available for each co-condition.

Cardiometabolic Learning Collaborative

In partnership with the Cardiometabolic Center Alliance and the Preventative Cardiology Nurses Association (PCNA), ADCES23 held the cardiometabolic learning collaborative with a panel of experts that discussed different aspects of cardiac, renal and metabolic complications associated with Type 2 diabetes and ways to design care to assess, plan and implement the right care at the right time. This session was provided with support from Lilly and Novo Nordisk and does not offer CE.

Person-Centered Care for Individuals Who Have Higher Weight

This certificate program helps health care providers gain tools, strategies and confidence to provide compassionate, individualized care to higher weight individuals.

Obesity: The Treatment Landscape

This program addresses epidemiology and basic pathophysiology of obesity, particularly that of why it's hard to lose weight and maintain weight loss. Lifestyle interventions and medication management strategies will be addressed, and medications on the horizon will be introduced to the audience.
