Staying up to date with diabetes technology with training and education

The field of diabetes education is constantly changing. National standards are updated, best practices evolve and new medications and devices are released. New and emerging technologies can help people with diabetes optimize glucose levels, reduce diabetes burden, achieve improved quality of life, and reduce the risk of acute and chronic complications.

Diabetes practitioners and clinical practices are struggling to keep up with the pace of technological change. While essential, expertise in diabetes technology is not enough. There must also be processes in place to streamline paperwork and documentation, optimize clinical flow, educate staff and providers, and obtain reimbursement.

Danatech’s training and education resources provide a comprehensive overview of diabetes technology and how it can be effectively integrated into the clinical paradigm. We provide learning opportunities from in depth training on the latest CGMs to content that highlights the role of the diabetes care and education specialist and other healthcare professionals as technology expert and champion.
